Is Peacemaker Dead? James Gunn Explains Suicide Squad Credits Scene

In our exclusive interview with Gunn, he confirmed that Peacemaker was originally supposed to die, but the credits scene with Peacemaker was added when the approaching HBO Max Peacemaker series got a greenlight. “ It got added because the television show, ” said Gunn. “ I did n’t say I was going to do the television usher until after the movie was basically finished being cut. So then I got asked to do the television receiver picture, and then I said I would do it. then when we started shooting the television show, I shot the post-credit view. ”
Gunn added that the fiddling scene with Weasel coughing up water and scampering off into the woods was always planned for the credits, but he was constantly hoping to put something at the very goal of the credits adenine well. “ I think I was hoping I could put something else at the very end of the credits, because I in truth liked where that first post-credit scene is nowadays.
