( Full disclosure, all of the openings are bops, and you should wholly listen to them. Or fair watch the show, either direction. )
9. Make my Story
Coming in at the bottom is the second gear open from season 3. now there is nothing incorrectly with this opening ; the song is still catchy enough and the visuals hush get me hyped whenever I watch it. But the other openings good do it better, although the bode at the end is pretty neat when you notice it. I won ’ thyroxine spoil it here though .
8. The Day
The one that started it all, the orifice for season 1. now some might say I ’ megabyte being harsh by placing this one then far devour and that it should be way higher up and to them I say, this is my tilt, and I can do what I want. Back to the open, when I beginning watched it I did think it was capital, it ’ s what helped motivate me to start watching the series. In comparison to late openings though, it does look a bit bland, calm a bop though .
The second opening of season 4 is decidedly a change of pace fore the series. Up until this distributor point, the openings have been all about hyping you up for each episode. Starmaker on the other hand has a different goal, to make you just feel glad. The cheerful song combined with the colorful visuals fair scream fun which is a full 180 from the first base open of temper 4 but we ’ ll get to that late. Super fun opening .
The first first step of season 5 comes in at number 6, contradicting the song entitle. This first step might have been higher improving if there was some more variation in the visuals but seeing as the entire foremost half of this season alone covers one bow there wasn ’ t much that could be done. still a hype song though and they do make the most of the visuals they can use .

This is where we start to get into some of my personal favourites. The combination of music and visuals and the time of it all is just great, particularly once the chorus hits, it ’ south damn adept. Whilst this one does take a while to warm up to, once you ’ ve heard/watched it a few times, it ’ ll be stuck in your head arsenic well. besides, the change they did for the last bow of the temper was a nice touch ( again no spoilers here ) .
4. Peace Sign
here is where I actually make people angry. now I agree that this sung is an absolute banger and seeing all the characters preparing for the sports festival is always fun to watch because who doesn ’ metric ton enjoy a tournament arc. however, I think that the last three openings are even more ballyhoo, which I know might be hard to believe but just hear me out .
3. Odd Future
Coming in at third gear place is the first opening for temper 3. This is another first step that you have to watch a few times to truly get into it, but once you do, it will quickly get itself stuck in your head for at least a week. Everything from the birdcall, to Shigaraki and the Nomu, to All might powering up, all of it combines to make something truly hype .
2. Sora Ni Utaeba
In second place is credibly one of the more controversial picks. The second open of season 2 is decidedly not for everybody, I understand that, and it can be argued that both Peace Sign and Odd Future are more deserve. But, whenever I hear that build up, see the characters flashbacks and then when the chorus kicks in, I merely can ’ triiodothyronine avail but get pilomotor reflex whenever I hear it. Absolute sock .
The best My Hero Academia open ( in my opinion ) is hand down Polaris from season 4. This birdcall is an absolute firecracker, and the visuals are some of my favourites from any usher I ’ ve watched. The way the open progresses, slowly unveiling more characters and short narrative hints is amaze. And when that chorus hits, it ’ south incredible. now I might besides be extremely bias towards this unfold seeing as it ’ sulfur my favorite bow of the show, but who cares, this song is a sock and I could listen to it constantly.
And that ’ s the definitive My Hero Academia opening rank and I will not be taking any questions at this prison term. Regardless of which one is your favored, one thing most of us can agree on is that they are all amazing in their own ways .
( Don ’ t forget the new movie besides comes out October 28th in Australia. It ’ randomness going to be great, hopefully ) .
